Overview
Online proctoring enables online test taking within a controlled and monitored environment, thereby enhancing academic integrity. ProctorU is the online exam proctoring service that eCampus makes available to UConn eCampus online courses. ProctorU allows students with an adequate internet connection and computer to take live proctored online exams in remote locations (e.g., their place of residence). This post provides information on how to review incidents in the recorded sessions after exam sessions have been completed.
PLEASE NOTE: ProctorU is the only available to courses that pay the Online Course Fee. Hybrid courses are NOT eligible to use ProctorU. We recommend you consider Respondus Lockdown Browser with Monitor as an alternative.
See "Using Online Proctoring with eCampus - How It Works" for general overview of using online proctoring with your online course and be sure to read all of the associated pages on online proctoring.
- Log into your ProctorU account or click the "View Incident Report" link sent to you in the incident report email.
- The email link will bring you directly to the user session in question. If logging in, navigate to the exam and click the "View" button next to a student name.
- Below the video, you will see activity information and by clicking through the tabs, and then reviewing the videos, you should be able to make your determination on incidents or problems that occur.
